Story of Who I Am

I am a retired peace officer and have worked in the Department of Corrections in my state for over 30 years. I have been exposed to inmates from minor crimes to those who have committed extremely heinous acts. I have trained staff at all levels of custody, as well as to non-custody staff, in the operations of an institution and personal safety and security. I currently audit state prisons to ensure compliance with policy and procedures, and to ensure that everything from the delivery of health care to most complex staff safety concerns are appropriately evaluated and addressed.

We All Want To Go Home To Our Loved Ones

I have seen a decline in how people walk within their communities. The new technology has improved our ability to communicate and access information, like via this website. But this technology has caused many people to become tunneled, distracted and often completely unaware of their surroundings and possible threats to their personal safety.

Helping People Become More Aware

I hope to help people to understand the seriousness of the environment they are in at each time of their lives, from shopping to enjoying a movie.
